“A Moon Child is someone who believes in Integrity, Love and Unity. I launched this community about four years ago and we've been growing and evolving together since then. We keep in touch online, we discuss everything and anything and try to help each other in any way we can.

We mark ourselves with 3 dots so we always remember these 3 important things:
Integrity - when one is on their path and follows their own truth, that's when one can truly be happy.
Love - when one feels fulfilled, one can feel true love. Love starts from loving yourself. Once you love yourself, you can truly love others.
Unity - Remembering that we are a whole and each piece of the puzzle is important and equal.

I stress a lot that being a Moon Child isn't about being perfect. It's about being the best that you can be and taking full responsibility for your reality. Understanding that your thoughts, words and actions are creating your life. We're human, we make mistakes, but we're trying to learn as we go, roll with the punches and create a positive world around us.”

It’s not about you. It’s not about me. It’s about us.

I remember this one time on facebook when a moonchild from the US wrote to me about a problem she had. There was this girl who was spreading rumours about her. We had quite a long chat until I had to go. When I left, I realized that I had been talking to a girl living on the other side of the planet like we were good friends…

The truth is I didn’t even know this girl. We had commented on each other’s statuses and photos on facebook, but not more than that.

Is this what it’s all about, being a moonchild? I was there for her, she was there for me, but still we were so far away from each other.

The Moonchildren… " for people who feel too much and find it hard to exist in this world, so that they wouldn't think they're crazy."  We believe in Integrity, Love and Unity.  I could describe us as friends who haven’t met yet, or maybe we are friends who meet again. No matter what, we got united by a little creepy girl from a little creepy place called secret Estonia. She loves to sing, she’s got a little gift, an amazing thing.

This girl is called Kerli.

Kerli is the establisher of the streetteam Moonchildren. She first created a myspace, http://www.myspace.com/kerlistreetteam, where she united her fans.

She came up with these three dots as a symbol of Moonchildren and announced that these dots were going to stand for Integrity, Love and Unity.

To Kerli, I am forever thankful. I’ve met people who think like me and feel like me. I’ve met a girl I could call one of my best friends after only a couple of months.

But this blog is not all about Kerli. And it’s certainly not all about me. It’s about us.

Kerli wants us all to spread Integrity, Love and Unity. She created http://www.iamamoonchild.net and she wants to invite YOU.

Moonchildren don’t just wear moonmarks and listen to Kerli. We live our three words. Moonchild is a way of living.

We are all equal, we are all one.
