New Year

Happy New Year!
I hope you all had a brilliant ending of 2011 and a shimmering start of 2012.

New starts

Most people see new years as perfect opportunities to make new starts. Some make new year resolutions to quit smoking, start training, to study more, to improve cooking skills, to stress less and I’ve also read on Facebook about some wanting to live more as the moonchildren they say they are.
But actually, we make new starts much more often than what we pay attention to. Many people feel like they make a new start every Monday after a weekend for example. Some make new starts every time they get paid. It’s different for each person. The point I’m trying to reach is that, I want You to remember that you don’t need a new year to make a new start. Some think they need the new year resolutions because they, for example, think they can’t make a promise to themselves that they can keep. But we are stronger than that and You can make a new start with a new challenge anytime you want. You just need to believe in yourself. Might sound stupid to some, but there are always people in the world that needs to hear things like this.

Wishes

Did you make a wish for 2012?
When I was at my friend’s house, her mother asked us if we had made any new year resolutions this year. We both replied we had not, and I asked her if she had. She replied that she had not, but that she had made a new year’s wish. Of some reason, it made me happy to hear an adult saying she had made a wish for the new year. I guess it was because I am often surrounded by people refusing to believe in anything.

While talking about belief, I would like to pass on a tip from my best friend, Moonchild Amarah. I am sure most of you have heard about “The Secret”.
“Everything is possible, nothing is impossible. There are no limits. Whatever you can dream of can be yours, when you use The Secret”
The Secret is teaching a way of thinking “Ask. Believe. Receive.” that has changed many people’s lives through a film, and through a book that was written after the film was made.
I haven’t read the book myself, so I don’t want to say more than I know.
Have You read it or seen the movie? If You have any stories about The Secret, I’d love to hear them:)
The tip I got from Amarah was this:

An example of a daily teaching:)

A desktop widget with daily teachings! This free widget updates every day and brings a new message to your desktop for you to read (requires internet connection).
Why not download this widget and add the teachings to your new start? If your resolution was to become more positive for example, I am sure this could help you!

And this is how you do it:
1 Visit http://thesecret.tv/widgets.html.
2 Choose the widget you would like to download. (They’re all the same, but you have to choose the widget that works with your computer.)
3 When you’ve clicked on the widget you want to download, you mark the box, probably lying that you read and agreed with the terms and conditions (biggest lie ever haha, I’ve never seen anyone in my entire life reading through the terms and conditions!) and you click download and “save”.
4 When it’s downloaded, you’ll have to find the file on the computer, double click on it and choose “install”. Then you should have the widget on your desktop! Tada!

That was all for this time!
Hope we’re heading for a bright new year.
Love&Light
